LIFENET AED Event Viewer by Physio-Control, Inc. is a desktop application designed to retrieve, organize, and review event data captured by compatible Physio-Control automated external defibrillators (AEDs). It helps clinicians, EMS teams, and AED program managers quickly analyze cardiac arrest cases by presenting a clear timeline of key events—such as pad placement, rhythm analysis, prompts, shocks delivered, and CPR intervals—and, where available, corresponding ECG snapshots. The software streamlines post-event review, quality improvement, and documentation, and can be used on its own or as part of a broader LIFENET workflow.

Key capabilities:

  • Download and consolidate AED case data from compatible Physio-Control devices
  • View time-stamped event sequences, shock history, and CPR-related intervals
  • Review ECG information when supported by the recording device
  • Add notes and produce concise, printable reports for QA, training, and medical oversight
  • Export case data in common formats to support record-keeping and sharing
  • Optionally integrate with LIFENET services to route cases to care teams and medical directors
  • Administrative controls to help manage user access and case organization

Intended users:

  • EMS agencies and fire departments
  • Hospitals and clinical teams
  • Public access AED program coordinators and safety managers

Note: Features and data types available in the viewer depend on the AED model and configuration. This software supports post-event review and program management and is not a substitute for clinical judgment.
